Two men charged after teenager stabbed with glass bottle in Hanley

Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, on Friday morning.

Usama Wajid, 23, has been charged with Section 18 – wounding with intent, possess an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis/cannabis resin.

Zain Kabir, 25, has been charged with Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and theft.

Police were called to Trinity Street, Hanley, just after 4am on Friday morning (Google).

It comes after police were called to Trinity Street in Hanley to reports of disorder just after 4am on Friday morning. A man in his late teens had been stabbed.

The victim is still in hospital receiving treatment.

Both men appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday and have been remanded into custody.
