Staffordshire Police is appealing for information following a Stoke-on-Trent burglary.

It comes after officers went to Blakelow Road, Abbey Hulton, at around 9am yesterday (Sunday 13 September).

The police force said a man was found inside a house with injuries.

The man has been taken to hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Our investigation is ongoing and we urge people not to speculate on social media whilst enquiries are being carried out.

"We are appealing for anyone with doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage of the area at the time to get in touch."
