Two men charged after nearly 100 cannabis plants found in Newcastle

Two men have been charged after police found nearly 100 cannabis plants at a home in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Lulzim Haka, 41, from Birmingham, and Eri Kakuli, 23, of no fixed address, have both been charged with producing a controlled drug of class B - cannabis.

They are both due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 15 March).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers across the region are continuing to proactively target drug cultivation as part of our Operation Levidrome commitment."
