Two arrested following the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent

Two people have been arrested after a man died in Stoke-on-Trent today (19 April).

Police were called to King Street, Fenton, at 3.30am this morning, following reports that a man in his 40s had been found unresponsive inside a property. Sadly he died a short time later.

A 53-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, both from the Stoke-on-Trent area, have been arrested on suspicion of administering poison with intent to endanger life.

They both remain in police custody while inquiries continue.
