Two arrested after two teenagers stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent

Two people have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man suffered stab wounds in Stoke-on-Trent.

At 1.45pm on Saturday 25 May, police were called to Ruthin Road, Bucknall, by paramedics who were treating an 18-year-old man with stab injuries.

Police say they were later made aware of a 16-year-old boy with stab wounds at Royal Stoke Hospital.

A 16-year-old boy had been taken to Royal Stoke with stab wounds (SWNS).

A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. They have been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Anyone with information, or relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time can call 101, quoting incident 351 of 25 May, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
