Three sets of temporary traffic lights are planned for a busy road in Stoke-on-Trent within the next two weeks.

Weston Road is a busy road that runs through Weston Coyney connecting Meir and Caverswall, with shops, houses, a school and car park.

Between 28 and 31 August, temporary lights will be placed next to the turning for Woodville Road to allow Openreach to carry out 'utility repair and maintenance works'.

A pedestrian walkway will be provided whilst these works are taking place.

The following week, two-way signals will be installed near the junction with Brookwood Drive between 4 and 9 September.

Severn Trent Water will be carrying out 'utility repair and maintenance works' between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

The road, further towards the junction with Weston Coyney Road, will have multi-way signals placed between 5 and 9 September whilst Virgin Media carries out utility asset works.
