Belong is looking for Community Support Workers to work in its Newcastle facility (Belong).

Belong is an innovative not for profit provider of person centred care for older people; specialising in dementia care.

The job advert says: "You'll be working with a warm, friendly team as a Community carer. 

"Working in the local community you can make a real impact to the lives of older people; giving them the support to continue to live independently in their own homes."

Betsy's job advert says: "You'll need to be confident in approaching and dealing with diverse groups of people. Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour will come naturally to you and you'll work well as part of a team.

"Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must. You'll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service as well as cleanliness."

No experience is necessary and salary is between £5.28 and £10.52 per hour.

Aldi, based in Meir, is looking for a Store Management Apprentice (Nub News).

Aldi is looking for Store Management Apprentice to join its three-year programme.

Applicants will need GCSEs in Maths and English, grade 4 and above (minimum grade C or equivalent) to be able to undertake the Apprenticeship.

Village Community Night Nurse - Belong

Belong is also looking for Night Nurses (Belong).

Co-op is offering £10.80 per hour to successful applicants (Nub News).

Co-op is looking for a "friendly and thoughtful" person to work as a team member in one of their busy Stoke-on-Trent stores.

The job application states: "You'll make sure your store is in great shape – working as part of a team to replenish products and support deliveries. 

"You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm, or involves working in one of our petrol forecourts."

Immigration Caseworker - Home Office (Stoke-on-Trent)

The Home Office, now with an office in Hanley, is looking for an immigration caseworker to progress the cases of people who have had their applications refused or rejected.

Part of the job role is considering the deportation of foreign nationals who have been convicted of a criminal offence in the UK and ensuring removal action is taken against those who have no basis of stay within the country.

Salary is £25,750 a year and work hours is Monday-Friday with some weekend availablility.

The trust is offering 15.5 hours a week permanent contract with the possibility of the hours being extended the right candidate.
