Three men have been arrested after officers discovered a huge cannabis grow in a property in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to an address on Piccadilly, Hanley, yesterday.

A total of 90 mature cannabis plants and 90 seedlings were discovered, along with equipment used in the production of cannabis such as lights and transformers.

A 31-year-old man, from the Birmingham area, and a 26-year-old man, of no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).

All three men have been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue (SWNS).

The plants were seized and the property secured.
