Three dogs have been seized from a Meir property today and remain in the care of the RSPCA (Nub News).

Three dogs have been seized after Staffordshire Police carried out a joint warrant with the RSPCA in Stoke-on-Trent today (24 January).

Police have been responding to reports of animal welfare concerns in the Meir area and carries out a search of an address on South Walk today.

Three dogs, which were being kept at the address, have been removed and left in the care of the RSPCA.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Officers will continue to support the RSPCA as part of their investigation.

"Anyone with any information that can help is asked to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 98 of 24 January, or message us using Live Chat on our website."
