Take a look: New football and activity centre opening this month in Stoke-on-Trent

A new indoor football and activity venue is opening in Stoke-on-Trent this month at a site previously used as temporary accommodation for the homeless.
KIX FC, at the former Macari Centre on Regent Road, in Hanley, aims to provide an all-year multi-functional sports facility that fuses sport for all ages and abilities with a nod to retro street games.
The venue, which opens on Monday 19 May, houses a 3G pitch, a street football area, football 'crazy golf' and augmented darts as well as a cafe and bar.
It has been set up by former Sandbach United FC chairman and Stokie ,Peter Colclough, and his business partner Chris Hall.

Peter told Nub News: "It's an entirely new concept. There's nothing like this which does everything under one roof.
"We did lots of research to find out what people wanted and what was available in the area.
"We were looking for a space to house this in and the building in Hanley came up. We're delighted with how it's turned out and are looking forward to opening next Monday (May 19th)."
And as well as bringing a new concept, tagged 'from the streets to indoors', will also create up to 20 jobs.

The business partners, who are both Stoke City fans, have spent several weeks getting the venue up and running with their families.
Artist and Peter's wife, Judith is also involved in the project and many of the walls have been designed and painted by her.
Chris's son, Adam Hall has been helping with the setup from the beginning, will be working at the venue.
As well as a space with a 'Cost Kick A Bo Agen A Wall' theme, visitors can take on challenges and play games such as Kerby and Wall-y.

Peter added: "We want to offer something new to the area and we'll be open seven days a week from 9 am until 10 pm.
"We're offering a complete football experience as well as other activities and people can do as much or as little as they like."

Chris, who used to head up global transport for clothing chain, H&M, said: "It's an exciting new concept which I'm sure will be well received. People don't want to just sit in bars now - they want to be doing an activity. We saw a demand for this."
The venue opens, at Unit 4 Park Works, Regent Road, Hanley.
