Investigation launched after cannabis grow uncovered in Stoke-on-Trent

Police have uncovered another cannabis grow in Stoke-on-Trent after they spotted a group of men at the side of a building in the early hours of this morning (14 May).
At around 2:30am, officers spotted the men on Kings Street in Longton which resulted in the grow being uncovered inside a commercial building and a 29-year-old man arrested.
It comes just a day after Staffordshire Police found the remnants of a cannabis grow inside a disused building on the corner of Brick House Street in Burslem.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We're investigating after finding a cannabis grow in Stoke-on-Trent.
"At about 2.30am this morning (Wednesday 14 May), officers came across the grow on King Street, Longton, after spotting a group of men near the side of the building.
"A number of plants were found inside a business building, which is currently being held as a scene.
"A 29-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a class B drug (cannabis).
