A stolen BMW crashed into another vehicle recently, after failing to stop for police.

Staffordshire Police say they were patrolling around Meir when the vehicle failed to stop - the driver then "ended up colliding with another".

Officers then found that the vehicle was stolen earlier this year.

A spokesperson said: "We were called to Delaney Drive shortly after 11.30pm on Friday following reports of a black BMW 3 Series colliding with a parked car.

"Those inside the BMW left the scene on foot after it happened. No-one was reported injured. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch."
