A Stoke-on-Trent man has been jailed after approximately £150,000-worth of drugs and cash were seized during a warrant.
David Malcolm Williams, 23, from Chell Heath, was sentenced to four-years in prison at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court today (Tuesday 16 June).
He pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine and B – cannabis, and one count of acquiring / using / possessing criminal property at an earlier hearing.
PC Bennett, of the City Proactive Team, said: "When Williams was initially interviewed, he answered 'no comment' to all questions asked but we worked hard to gather evidence against him.
"I am glad that Williams has received a custodial sentence for his offending and would encourage others to report drug use and supply to us."
It comes after officers conducted a warrant at a house in Chell Heath on 21 October last year, acting on intelligence of drug supply in the area.
They seized approximately £71,000-worth of cocaine, £20,000-worth of cannabis and £61,080 in cash.
Staffordshire Police said Williams was found inside the property and arrested at the scene.
