Search continues at Staffordshire beauty spot after three teenagers fall in lake

A large number of emergency services are currently at Rudyard Lake, Staffordshire, following reports that three people fell in.

Police were called to the lake shortly after 9.30pm last night (24 February), after three young men, believed to be about 17-years-old, were spotted in the water.

Two of them managed to get out and were assessed by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service. They have both been taken to hospital.

Two teenagers have been rescued but the third boy is still unaccounted for (Wiki Commons).

Specialist search teams are currently in the area alongside Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

The third young man is still unaccounted for.
