A man has been charged after police seized a suspected stolen quadbike in a crackdown on vehicle related anti-social behaviour in north Staffordshire.

Dominic Daniels, 29, from Burslem, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously and using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third-party insurance.

At around 2.30pm, a quadbike failed to stop for officers when they spotted it on Chell Heath Road in Chell Heath. The aircraft located the machine and rider almost immediately and followed it to Bradwell Woods, where a man was arrested.

Daniels has been bailed to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 5 December.
