A drug dealer in Stoke-on-Trent has been jailed after officers found cocaine, cannabis and cash when they searched him and his home.

Shane Bridgewood, 35, of Norton, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Thursday (16 July).

He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine) and possession of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis / cannabis resin) at an earlier hearing.

It comes after officers arrested Bridgewood after going to Port Vale Court in Burslem in October 2022.

Staffordshire Police said Bridgewood was taken into custody, where officers seized cocaine, cash and a mobile phone from him.

Bridgewood's home was searched, and cannabis and items related to drug supply were found.
