A Stoke Nub News sponsor is celebrating their four-year anniversary.

A lockdown success story, Easy Winning is an online raffle firm that was started when Buxton resident Charles Edwards returned home from travelling in March 2020 and struggled to get a job.

Fast-forward four years later, it has become a thriving competitions company, and recently hired Callen Deighan to double their workforce.

Easy Winning award prizes to the general public every day, from cash to cars to games consoles. They have sponsored Stoke Nub News since autumn 2023.

They have sponsored Stoke Nub News for over six months, and in March 2024 they are celebrating their four-year anniversary. Stoke Nub met with Charlie and Cal for a chat.

"It doesn't feel like it has been four years it feels like a week", said Charles.

"I've been here six months and it feels like a day," said Cal.

"We will be doing special competitions throughout the week", told Charles.

"We recently passed the £3 million milestone in the value of prizes we have given out."

"We celebrated the three-year anniversary last year with a £15,000 giveaway, so keep an eye on our site and socials to see what we are doing this year.

"Four years is mental when you think about it. You don't really think about it when you are doing it every day. I was 22 when we started and I am 26 now.

"If it carries on the way it is going, the next four years are absolutely ridiculous. God knows what we are going to be giving away as prizes!

"It could be houses in four years time!"

"Thank you to everyone who have put their trust in the site.

"We have got 30,000 players now, and grow by about 200 new signups per day at the moment which is a bit overwhelming when you sit down and think about it."

"It is crazy how last September we reached the £1 million milestone in the value of prizes and now in the last six months we have reached £3 million", added Cal.

"Thank you for your support."

"Thank you for Nub News for the support as well, we have been working together for over a year now," concluded Charles.

As well as prizes for the public, they also do bi-weekly cash draws for charity, and you can nominate a Stoke charity too.
