Stoke man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Shelton

A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed in Shelton.

Police were called to Rectory Road at 2.20pm on Sunday (7 May).

The victim, a man in his 20s, is in a stable condition in hospital.

Muxsin Awjama, 28, from Stoke-on-Trent, was charged with attempted murder last night (Tuesday 9 May). 

He is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 10 May).
