Stoke man arrested after police seize more than 180 cannabis plants

A man has been arrested following a cannabis grow discovered at a property in Kidsgrove.

Police attended an address off Newchapel Road just before 11am yesterday (Tuesday 20 December).

Shortly after, a 19-year-old man was located and arrested on suspicion of cultivating a cannabis plant.

He remains in custody and inquiries are ongoing.
