Shoemaker Place, in Stone, is hosting its Christmas Lights Switch-On event on Friday 29 November from 2pm.

The event will feature special guest appearances from the Stone Town Mayor, Cllr Philip Leason MBE JP and Mayoress Mrs. Edith Leason, who will perform the honour of switching on the home's beautiful Christmas lights.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Yarlett School Choir will serenade attendees with beloved Christmas classics, bringing the holiday spirit to life.

There will be choir performances, special guest appearances and refreshments (Borough Care).

Guests will also be treated to traditional mince pies and mulled wine, offering a taste of seasonal cheer. This celebration is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, meet Shoemaker Place residents and staff, and enjoy a heartwarming afternoon of festivities.

The event is open to everyone in the local community and is being held in support of Stone Community Hub, emphasising Shoemaker Place's commitment to fostering connections and giving back to the community.

If it wasn't for sponsors like Borough Care our news site would not be possible - thank you.
