Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland is in Hanley from 22 November (Winter Wonderland).

Winter Wonderland, "Stoke-on-Trent's best ever outdoor Christmas" kicks off on Friday (22 November) and will be running until 5 January.

There will be a huge ice rink, thrilling rides and attractions, festive games, lights, trees and Reindeer visits.

Organisers say: "Take a spin or on a fantastic selection of fairground rides, feel the excitement build as you explore a whole host of attractions that cater to all ages, including new for this year the Extreme, Super Trooper and the Take Off.

"Indulge festive food and drinks, warm up in the Bavarian Bar, there's a delightful selection and everything delicious! In the mood for something stronger, choose from draft beers and lagers, a selection of spirts, cocktails or the all-time yuletide favourite warm mulled wine."

Christmas Market & Lights Switch On 

Longton's Christmas lights will be switched on on 23 November (Image supplied).

Between 10am and 6pm on Saturday 23 November, Longton will be packed with Christmas festivities for all the family. 

A popular Artisan and Cultural Fair will also be taking place with over 30 local makers, creators and entertainers. 

There will also be lots of live entertainment, food and drinks, crafts and a fun fair all before the grand finale of the lights being switched on.

Star Bikers Christmas Toy Run

On Sunday 24 November, over 1,500 bikers are expected to rev up their engines for a worthy cause. 

Star Bikers Charity will host its 46th annual Toy Run to collect gifts for children and families in need for Christmas.

Riders will meet at 11am at Bet365 Stadium and parade through Stoke-on-Trent, collecting new unwrapped toys along the route from spectators.

The parade will finish at Kings Hall, Stoke, where volunteers will collect all gifts from along the way.

Sweeney Todd - Stoke Youth Musical Theatre Company

Sweeney Todd is at Stoke Rep Theatre this weekend (Stoke Rep Players).

Stoke Rep Players - the in-house theatre company of Stoke Rep Theatre - are planning a huge range of shows in the build up to Christmas 2024. 

Between 19 and 23 November, Stoke Youth Musical Theatre Company present Sweeney Todd, a dark and witty musical tale of love, murder and revenge set against the backdrop of 19th century London.
