The Big Feast | Hanley | Fri 22 & Sat 23 Aug

There's so much going on in Hanley this weekend for The Big Feast, we've written a whole separate article about it so you know what to expect.

Now in its eleventh year, this free arts festival will see performances in 14 locations, including the Potteries Centre, Piccadilly, Bethesda Chapel, the bus station, the old town hall and Smithfield. 

The event is organised by Appetite and will take place between 11am-5pm on Friday 22 August and Saturday 23 August.

'Castle Food & Drink Fest | The Ironmarket and High Street | Sat 23 Aug

Get ready for a late summer foodie feast in Newcastle this weekend as a 'Castle Food and Drink Fest comes to the town centre.

There will be food traders, summer tipples, live music and lots of activities for children including the opportunity to meet Spiderman, Ariel & Mirabelle between 2pm-3:30pm.

The whole event is running between 10am and 4pm.

Stoke Town Music Festival | Sun 24 & Mon 25 August

Keep the party going through the bank holiday weekend at the Stoke Town Music Festival.

The Quarter will host local bands such as Adele and Andy, The Hairy Bartenders, Sounds Familiar and KMK on the opening day, and on the Bank Holiday Monday the popular restaurant will also hold a family silent disco.

On the same day, Stoke Minster will welcome families for a Disney-themed singalong and show choir performance.

Elsewhere, The Glebe will be holding a Pirate Day on the Sunday, as well as a BBQ, and family fun activities, whilst The Kingsway will have live music featuring Dan Eyden.
