The Stoke Rep Theatre has a new amateur production running by special arrangement with Deborah McAndrew and Claybody Theatre.
Imagine a terraced home in the 1950s Stoke-on-Trent, where every brick holds a whisper of the past. Here, in Dirty Laundry, crafted by the talented Deborah McAndrew, we meet Nora. She's the heart of her home, juggling the care of her sick father, Reuben, with her work at the pottery company. Through the hum of everyday life, a name haunts Reuben's restless sleep — Emeline.
Middleport Pottery Canal Festival | Middleport Pottery Sat 14 June
Head over to Middleport Pottery for a free family fun day out on Saturday.
Step back in time to the 1920's and experience life as it was 100 years ago, while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the canal.
There will be narrowboats, food & festivities, traditional fairground games, market stalls, music and so much more.
On the cobbled streets there will also be historical interpreters will share stories of local industry & the hardworking people to celebrate 100 years of Stoke-on-Trent.
