The Unfriend | Stoke Rep Theatre | Until Sat 11 Oct

The Stoke Rep Players are back with another production and tickets are on sale now!!

'The Unfriend' follows couple Peter and Debbie as they embark on a cruise. While on the holiday, they befriend Elsa who has a massive impact on the family — but not in the way that any of us might have expected.

The Potteries Folk Club presents: Anthony John Clarke | Fenton Town Hall | Fri 10 Oct

This weekend the Potteries Folk Club presents a very special guest: Described by Fairport Convention as a National Treasure, this singer-songwriter has been an integral part of the UK music scene for 30 years.

Originally from Belfast, AJ emerged there with his songs 'The Broken Years' and 'The Only Life Gloria Knows', but now presents as one of the most humorous and entertaining acts around.

Doors open for Anthony John Clarke at 7:15pm for a 7:45pm start with floor singers and main concert thereafter.

Pumpkin Painting Workshop | Middleport Pottery | Sat 11 Oct

Head down to Middleport Pottery and paint your very own pottery pumpkin this weekend.

Using ceramic colours, you will be able to decorate your own 14cm (5.5 inch) pumpkin in any style you like.

Tickets are £25 and the event starts at 10:30am.

Shed Stories by Casson & Friends | Fenton Town Hall | Sat 11 Oct

Fenton Town Hall is hosting Shed Stories this weekend - a theatre, documentary and dance performance.

Shed Stories is a new performance from Casson & Friends, inspired by interviews with Shedders of all ages. The show combines compelling movement with human, humorous and heartwarming tales of making sawdust, friends, and cups of tea!

Shed Stories has been created through a series of visits, workshops & residencies at Sheds, Arts and Community Spaces in Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Essex, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire and North Yorkshire throughout late 2024/early 2025.
