Roller Disco
There is a series of new roller disco sessions taking place in and around Stoke-on-Trent this weekend.
Organisers say the events are a great way to make new friends, get fit and have fun.
Skates are available from a child's size eight to an adult size 12 and admission costs £8.
All ages and abilities are welcome and no booking is required.
Lessons in Chemistry: Oxidation & Reduction
A new art exhibition opens on Saturday 25 January at the Clay College Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent.
The exhibition explores different techniques in stoneware, showcasing diverse talent within studio pottery today.
It also looks as the magic of the glaze kiln where increasing or reducing oxygen can be used to create beautifully varied and unique results.
The Rise of the Fab Four
The Fab Four perform at Kings Hall, Stoke, on 25 January; tickets cost £28 and are available here.
Organisers say: "Join the greatest band of all time on a thrilling journey through their mercurial ascent as they traverse the Quarrymen's humble beginnings, Hamburg's seedy back streets, the halcyon days of the Cavern Club, and America's cacophonous welcome.
"This brand new concert show will have you twisting and shouting the night away, all the way to the toppermost of the poppermost!"
