Stoke-on-Trent Pride will take place in Hanley Park on Saturday 15 June (Nub News).

Stoke-on-Trent Pride takes place on Saturday 15 June and promises to be a huge celebration of diversity and equality.

There will be over 140 stalls, a huge parade, main stage and bar, arts activities and a fringe tent.

As always, the event is free to attend but entry into the main stage and bar area costs £5.

Castle Artisan Market

Castle Artisan Market takes place on Sunday 16 June (Castle Artisan Market).

A popular Artisan Market takes place on The Stones, Newcastle, on Sunday 16 June.

There will be a huge range of stalls selling homeware, gifts and treats from local makers, bakers and creators.

There will also be live music and free children's activities.

Father's Day events

A Father's Day running and walking relay begins at bet365 Stadium on Sunday (Nub News).

A Father's Day running and walking relay begins from bet365 Stadium on Sunday 16 June. The event has been organised by local rivers charity Trent Rivers Trust, in conjunction with Running Out of Time, a national relay event that will see the baton passed from Ben Nevis to Big Ben, calling for action on climate change.

Etruria Hall, on Festival Way, will be hosting a Father's Day lunch which costs £29.95 per adult and £15.95 per child. Find out more information here.
