Two men arrested after interfering with a car in Stoke-on-Trent

Two men have been arrested following reports of people trying car door handles in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to an address near Mill Hayes Road, Burslem, just after 12.30am yesterday (12 June) when two men were seen acting suspiciously near a parked car.

Officers stopped two men and seized a torch, tools and a screwdriver.

A 43-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, and a 39-year-old man, of no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference. 

Both men remain in custody for questioning whilst enquiries continue.
