Operation Sparkle
Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID will be hosting 'Operation Sparkle' on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 April.
The big clean up will feature graffiti removal, litter clearance, landscaping, jet washing and painting.
Local businesses and the public are also invited to take part in the annual Big Spring Clean.
Spring Vegan Festival
A Spring Vegan Festival will take place in Newcastle town centre on Sunday 14 April between 10am and 3pm.
This will be the 10th Vegan Festival and it will be packed full of wonderful traders, amazing charities and groups, and lots of positive vegan vibes!
Dougie Mac fundraiser
A 10k run, in aid of local charity - Dougie Mac, takes place on Saturday 13 April.
Dougie Mac say: "Our 10k chipped run is designed for experienced runners who are looking for a challenge.
"The course will take runners through some of the most picturesque scenery in the area with plenty of twists, turns and hills to put their fitness to the test.
"Road closures will also be in place for any runners looking for that elusive PB!"

- The Caverswall Creative Hub Art Trail is in place in local businesses all weekend. The trail features artwork created by students from local schools. Find out more here.
- The English Youth Ballet is coming to Stoke-on-Trent on Friday and Saturday this week. There will be three performances of Sleeping Beauty at The Regent Theatre. Find out more here.
