Gin and Rum Festival

An exciting Gin and Rum Festival takes place at Kings Hall, Stoke, on Saturday 6 July (Nub News).

A brilliant Gin and Rum festival is coming to Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday 6 July.

The organisers say: "Discover new favourites with samples from our hand-picked guest distillers, treat yourself at our themed Gin and Rum bars, and let your hair down with friends whilst enjoying music from our award-winning DJ and live entertainment.

"You will be spoilt for choice with over 120 of the best Gins and Rums on the market, including the best of British, spirits from around the world and a huge range of flavoured products."

Summer Fayre

This event takes place at Coopers Croft Care Home on Saturday 6 July (Coopers Croft Care Home).

Basford and Cliffe Vale Residents Association are teaming up with Coopers Croft Care Home for a community Collaboration on Saturday 6 July.

There will be a residents association and ward councillor drop-in, stalls, refreshments, face painting, bouncy castle and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service will also be in attendance.

Walking Tour

Middleport Pottery will host a walking tour on Sunday 7 July (Middleport Pottery).

Middleport Pottery are hosting a huge range of events as part of their 10-year anniversary celebrations.

On Sunday, they will host a walking tour in conjunction with the Canal and River Trust.

Middleport Pottery is inviting visitors to "explore the rich industrial history of the Trent & Mersey Canal from Middleport Pottery to Harecastle including the Chatterley Valley."
