Here are our top picks for the coming days:

Disco Inferno

Disco Inferno is at Regent Theatre, Hanley, on Saturday 21 September (Disco Inferno).

Disco Inferno, described as "the ultimate feel-good night out" is at The Regent Theatre on Saturday 21 September.

Organisers say "Disco Inferno is set to take audiences back to the glory days of Disco with an all-singing, all-dancing celebration that is the stuff of glitterball, Studio 54 dreams!

"Expect pitch-perfect harmonies, a tight-as-Spandex band and slicker-than-Saturday Night Fever choreography, with an evening to throwback and let the good times roll!"

Stoke Film Club - Blazing Saddles

This week's film being shown at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery is Blazing Saddles, a "gleefully vulgar spoof of Westerns that marks a high point in Mel Brooks' storied career".

The event takes place on Friday 20 September and refreshments are available at 6pm and during the interval - the film begins at 7pm.

Tickets cost £5, call 01782 232323 or email [email protected] to book.

Comedy and live music with Pablo Broom

Pablo Broom will be at Jollee's, Stoke, on Sunday 22 September (Jollees).

Pablo Broom will be performing at Jollee's, London Road, on Sunday 22 September.

The popular venue says: "What could be better than having some proper good laughs and singing along to cracking tunes with comedian/multi-instrumentalist/crowd pleasing entertainer Pablo Bloom? Well, quite a few things really but let's not get distracted - Come to this show instead! you won't regret it (for long)."

Or, if you're looking for something a little bit more relaxing, don't forget bod cafe bars are open all weekend.

Located on Longton Road and Station Road, the venues serve a range of Titanic ales as well as coffees and a varied food menu.
