Armed Forces Day

An Armed Forces Day event takes place in Hanley on Saturday 22 June (SOT BID).

A week of commemoration across the country kicks off in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, on Saturday 22 July.

Attendees can expect a showcase of the rich heritage and tradition of the Armed Forces, from interactive exhibits, children's activities, wartime vehicles and crafts.

Potteries Artisan Market will also be in attendee with a variety of gifts, treats and homewares for sale.

The Vicar of Dibley

The Vicar of Dibley is being performed between 20 and 22 June (Mow Cop Players).

Mow Cop Players proudly present The Vicar of Dibley, being performed at Mitchell Arts Centre between 20 and 22 June.

This is a two-act play with all your favourite characters from the hugely popular TV series. Relive the arrival of the new female Vicar, Geraldine Granger and meet again the many insane inhabitants of the quiet village of Dibley…

Walking Tour - Wood & Wedgwood in Burslem

The tour begins at 10am on Sunday 23 June (Middleport Pottery).

Visitors are being invited to explore the lasting legacy of Wedgwood and Absalom Reade Wood on the town of Burslem and discover how they shaped the town and the impact they had on its design.

The event is part of Middleport Pottery's 10th anniversary celebrations, celebrating the heritage visitor attraction and creative hub.

The Windrush Warriors

The Windrush Warriors is being performed at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday 22 June (Potteries Museum).

The Windrush Warriors is a new comedy-drama play set in a community centre that is home to a colourful array of diverse characters.

Based on true lives and events, the play is a hilarious and life-affirming story of four pensioners' fight for justice, dignity and equality. It's a story of how people in their golden years come together to fight adversity with warrior like ferocity.
