Armed Forces Day is a momentous occasion, dedicated to the dedication, sacrifice, and valour of our Armed Forces personnel. This year, Hanley is set to host the occasion, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages. Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June, falling this year on 29 June, so the celebrations in the city centre are set to kick-start a week of commemoration across the country.

Attendees can expect a showcase of the rich heritage and tradition of the Armed Forces, from interactive exhibits, children's activities, wartime vehicles and crafts. Plus, Potteries Artisan Market will be in attendance with a variety of artisanal gifts, tasty treats and quirky homewares for sale. The event will also showcase live music performances from local talented musicians, showcasing songs from the 1940s and modern classics. 

It is completely free to attend and we hope everyone in the city centre will join us for this very special day.
