There's plenty to get up to in and around Stoke-on-Trent this weekend.

Trentham Live | Trentham Estate | Thur 20 to Sun 23 Aug
Trentham Live 2026 will feature four days of live music in the 'stunning' surroundings of Trentham Gardens from Thursday 20 August through to Sunday 23 August.
The Fratellis will open the event on Thursday 20 August, supported by The Subways before Madness headline on Friday 21 August, joined by The Coral.
On Saturday 22 August boyband Five will headline the stage with support from The Wanted 2.0 and to complete the line-up, the final day sees The Human League with support from Haircut 100 on Sunday 23 August.
Kerrie Pope, Head of Events at Trentham said, "Following on from 2024's successful event, we are really excited about 2026. What an incredible line up we have coming to Trentham consisting of different music genres this Summer."
Three Counties Open Art Exhibition | Fenton Town Hall | Until Sat 29 Aug
The Three Counties Open Art Exhibition, which brings together artists from Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire, has returned to Fenton Town Hall with more works on show than ever before.
Kerry Jones, from ArtsKeele, said: "To be marking our 30th anniversary with both a record number of submissions and the largest exhibition we've ever staged is a wonderful way to celebrate the exhibition's legacy.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, 29 August, and is open with free entry from Tuesday to Saturday between 11am and 3pm.

David Dale Book Signing | Vellichor Books | Hanley | Sat 22 Aug
Vellichor Books in Hanley will be hosting a book signing with author David Dale on Saturday 22 August from 1pm to 3pm.
Vellichor Books said: "David Dale joins us for a signing of his spine-tingling tale, inspired by the legend of Molly Leigh, the Witch of Burslem."
Organ Proms | Victoria Hall | Hanley | Sat 22 Aug
The Organ Proms will return to Victoria Hall on Saturday 22 August at 12pm.
Victoria Hall said: "Experience the magnificence of the Victoria Hall's very own Grand 4 Manual Conacher-Willis Organ with a showcase of the UK's finest organists and the very best in organ-playing at our renowned Organ Proms."
Tickets are available to book online at £14.25 for an adult ticket with concessions available.
