Investigation underway following large fire involving commercial building in Hanley

An investigation is underway following a large fire in Stoke-on-Trent.
Emergency services were called to Trinity Street in Hanley shortly after 7pm on Thursday, August 20, following reports of a fire involving a commercial building.
No one was injured, however, Staffordshire Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson said: "Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
"The fire was extinguished and thankfully nobody was reported injured.
"We are appealing for anyone with doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage of the area at the time to contact us. Call 101, quoting incident 728 of 20 August, or use Live Chat on our website.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service sent five appliances and their aerial ladder platform to the scene, where they discovered a fire on the first floor of a commercial building.
"The fire was extinguished by crews wearing breathing apparatus using three main jets and the ALP," a spokesperson said.
"Thankfully nobody was reported injured.
"Crews remained at the scene overnight to monitor and dampen down any hotspots.
"An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing."
