Climate Cafe | B.Arts | Stoke | Sat 5 Sept

B.Arts' climate cafe will return this Saturday from 10am to 3pm at 72 Hartshill Road, Stoke.

The theme for this month's cafe is 'Re-imagine!'

The event will feature a range of activities including a clothes, toys and book swap; knitter and natter; live music; 'Pay what you can' vegetarian community meal and more.

B.Arts said: "The Climate Cafe is an open, inclusive space for people of all ages who want to start to discuss or already have ideas around climate justice."

Middleport Pottery Artisan Market | Middleport | Sat 5 and Sun 6 Sept

The Middleport Pottery Artisan Market will return on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 August.

The market will run from 10am to 4pm each day showcasing street food, handmade gifts, and homewares.

The organisers said: "This September, we're heading back to one of Stoke-on-Trent's most iconic heritage settings for a whole weekend celebrating the brilliant creative talent growing right here on our doorstep.

"Expect tables filled with handcrafted treasures, artisan bakes, beautiful artwork, unique gifts, tempting treats and plenty more from independent businesses who put their heart and soul into what they do."

Vickys Bakes Market | Biddulph Methodist Church and Victoria Centre | Sat 5 Sept

Vickys Bakes Market will be heading to Biddulph Methodist Church and the Victoria Centre to raise money for prostate cancer.

The market will take place on Saturday 5 September from 11am to 2.30pm.

There is free entry to the event which will feature "lots of stalls" and Vickys Bakes cakes.

The cafe will also be open.

Emerald Storm | Victoria Hall | Hanley | Sat 5 Sept

The Emerald Storm dance show will be heading to Victoria Hall on Saturday 5 September.

The organisers said: "Direct from the West End, Emerald Storm is the electrifying new dance phenomenon from Adam Garcia, the acclaimed stage and screen star behind some of theatre's biggest hits.

"Fusing the fire of Irish dance with the grit of urban tap, this high-octane production explodes with rhythm, passion and pure spectacle."

Stafford Film Festival | Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Sun 6 Sept

The Mitchell Arts Centre will be showing the official selection of short films from the Stafford Film Festival 2026 on Sunday 6 September.

The first programme will begin at 1pm and there will be two intervals.

The organisers said: "Stafford Film Festival 2026 brings its official selection of short films to the Mitchell Arts Centre for one afternoon only.

"Three separate programmes of new independent work from filmmakers across the UK and around the world, with short introductions from the festival team."

Tickets are available to book online at £10 for adults and £8 for children and concessions.
