A popular village festival in Staffordshire raised £8,000 which has been split between four "equally worthwhile" charities.
Carsafest is Caverswall's charity village festival that is run entirely by volunteers and a dedicated committee whose shared goal is to raise money for local and national causes.
The popular two-day festival, which took place on 23 and 24 June, and saw thousands of visitors enjoy a weekend of live music, entertainment, food and drinks.
As well as raising money for Blood Cancer UK, Cancer Research UK and Dougie Mac, the Carsafest committee selected Windmills as their additional beneficiary.
Last night, the Carsafest team and representatives from each charity gathered at The Red House in Caverswall to receive their cheques.
Windmills Bereavement Support, founded by Leeanne Clay and Zara Toussaint, aim to "preserve and protect the physical, emotional and mental health of children and young people when someone significant in their life is dying, or has died, by providing bespoke, focused and supportive acute bereavement care."
Leeanne told Stoke Nub News: "It's about allowing children to be part of death and taking the burden off the shoulders of the family, we make death okay and make an awful time a little bit better for them.
"Every penny makes such a difference and this money means we can provide memory boxes for the children and we can take them on trips and continue to do activities and generally support any child experiencing death in their family."
Matt Kilgariff, Carsafest Committee Member, said: "In previous years we've always been dedicated to supporting the bigger charities such as Blood Cancer UK, Cancer Research UK, and the Dougie Mac, but this year also wanted to open the floor to nominations from local people for an additional local cause.
"We received some great nominations for lots of equally worthwhile causes but after careful deliberation, and a Carsafest Committee vote, selected Windmills as our additional beneficiary to receive part of the charity fund total, which this year was £8000.
"The committee all agreed that the work Windmills do in supporting children and young people by offering free bereavement support across Staffordshire was admirable, and after meeting Zara and Leeanne were reassured that we had made a worthy choice."
