Investigation underway after outbuilding fire spreads to three properties in Stoke-on-Trent

An investigation is underway following an outbuilding fire in Stoke-on-Trent in the early hours of this morning.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue were at Bouverie Parade, in Sneyd Green, overnight to extinguish the fire, which had spread to three residential properties.
Residents living nearby saw a plume of sparks, flames and smoke rising above houses on the street just after 2am on Friday 11 June.
There were no injuries and a probe into the cause of the fire has begun.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue said: "We've extinguished a fire involving an outbuilding that spread to houses in Stoke-on-Trent.
"We were called at 2.15am today (Friday 11 July) to Bouverie Parade, Sneyd Green, following reports of a fire involving an outbuilding.
"Three appliances attended the scene and found the fire had spread to three residential properties.
"Thankfully, nobody was reported injured and crews used hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
"An investigation into the cause is currently underway."
