Police make arrest after drugs, phones and cash seized in Stoke

A man has been arrested after police uncovered drugs, cash and phones at a property in Stoke.
Staffordshire Police searched a property on Thursday (24 July) and found £700-worth of cocaine, £200-worth of cannabis and around £300 in cash.
Two mobile phones were also seized during the search.
A 23-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested and later released on bail while Staffordshire Police continues its enquiries.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "A 23-year-old, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine).
"He has been released on bail while our enquiries continue.
"Through Operation Target we have been working hard to disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking, organised immigration crime and sexual exploitation."
