Police appeal for information after nearly £300 worth of sweets and stationery stolen from Stoke market

Staffordshire Police is appealing for information after stationary and sweets were stolen from a stall at an indoor market in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to South Wolfe Street, Stoke-on-Trent, just after 7.45am yesterday morning (10 August) following reports of a burglary.

Stationary (including pens, pencils and staplers) as well as bags and jars of sweets, overall worth £275, were reported stolen.

The cash till at the stall was also damaged by unknown offender(s).

Police believe that the burglary took place between 1am and 1.45am on 10 August (Nub News).

Police are reviewing CCTV of the area at the time of the burglary.

The force is asking anyone with any information to contact them via their website.
