The play area at a popular park in Stoke-on-Trent will temporarily close next week whilst repair works take place.

Starting on Monday 4 September, each of the three play areas at Hanley Park will undergo repairs.

Work will begin on the sensory play area, then switch to the other two play areas in the park, ensuring at least two areas remain open at all time.

The work is expected to last around 5-6 weeks.

Stoke Nub News has approached Stoke-on-Trent City Council for more information.
