Post Office has agreed to relocate a branch in Stoke-on-Trent to a new location, only 70 metres away.

The Post Office at 819 London Road, Trent Vale, will relocate to 783 London Road; the date for the move is being finalised.

783 London Road is currently empty and will undergo a full refurbishment for a Post Office alongside cards and convenience retail.

The new branch will be operated by the current Postmaster, who has identified an opportunity to move this branch to a new location to continue to offer services to the local community.

Opening hours will remain the same and the Post Office will offer the same range of services (Google).

Opening hours will remain the same (9am-5.30pm Monday to Saturday) and the Post Office will offer the same range of products and services.

A spokesperson for Post Office said: "After careful consideration of the feedback received during consultation, we remain confident that the layout and location of the new branch will continue to meet customer needs and deliver an excellent service, whilst securing the long-term viability of Post Office services in the local community.

"A further review of parking has been carried out and has confirmed that roadside parking is available nearby."
