Plans have been submitted to install new electric vehicle charging stations on a coffee chain car park in Stoke - replacing three existing car park spaces.

On 24 March, InstaVolt submitted plans to install two new rapid electric vehicle charging stations on Costa Coffee Car Park, King Street, Fenton.

The UK electric vehicle charging network operator plans to replace three existing Costa car park spaces with two EV charging bays - along with associated equipment.

Two new charging points and associated equipment would take up three existing spaces (Instavolt).

Instavolt say the installation work should not take longer than one week.

A decision has not yet been made regarding these plans.
