On Sunday 24 November, over 1,500 bikers are expected to rev up their engines for a worthy cause.

Star Bikers Charity will host its 46th annual Toy Run to collect gifts for children and families in need for Christmas.

Founded in 1977, the Star Bikers Charity organises two motorbike runs each year, one at Easter and Christmas.

Riders will meet at 11am at Bet365 Stadium and parade through Stoke-on-Trent, collecting new unwrapped toys along the route from spectators.

The parade will finish at Kings Hall, Stoke, where volunteers will collect all gifts from along the way.

Jamie Porter, from the charity, said: "For nearly five decades, the Star Bikers Charity Toy Run has brought together bikers from all over to help make Christmas a little brighter for families facing hardship.

"We expect this year's event to be bigger and better than ever, and are hoping to collect a number of gifts, higher than we've ever collected, to distribute to children in need across the County.

"We have received a record number of requests for support this year, higher than it's ever been so for this event, we definitely need the support of the community!"

After the parade, bikers will arrive at Kings Hall for the After Party Extravaganza featuring over 20 stalls selling homemade goods, clothing and food and well as stalls from local charities and motorcycle clubs.

Jamie continued: "The outpouring of support from riders and spectators alike is always overwhelming.

"Together, we are able to spread joy and make a real difference in the lives of children and families who need it most."
