New padel facilities are heading to a Stoke-on-Trent leisure centre.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council is working in partnership with Ace Padel, to open a new padel court at Fenton Manor Sports Complex.
The launch follows the opening of Ace Padel's flagship site in Cobridge at the end of 2025.
Jamie Reynolds, founder and CEO at Ace Padel, said: "Stoke-on-Trent is where Ace Padel was born, so partnering with Fenton Manor and the city council feels like a natural and meaningful next step for us.
"The success of our Cobridge site has shown just how much appetite there is for padel across the city, people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities have embraced the sport with incredible enthusiasm.
"By expanding to three sites, we're creating a truly accessible network for the community, making it easier than ever to get active, connect with others, and experience the joy of padel. We're proud to continue building this movement in the city that started it all."
Leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, councillor Jane Ashworth, celebrated the expansion of padel facilities in the city and encouraged residents to try out the sport.
She said: "Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and, with the successful opening in Cobridge, it's important we seize on this momentum and make sure our residents have access to these facilities.
"What's great about Ace Padel and the work they do is that they make the sport accessible – whether you're a beginner or experienced, old or young, everyone is welcome to play.
"I encourage residents looking to get involved in physical activity to give it go and enjoy the social and health benefits playing padel brings."
