A new car wash, valeting and sales facility could open on a busy road in Stoke-on-Trent, if plans are approved by the city council.

Mr Sofie has approached the council for "change of use to a car sales / car wash and valeting facility" on the corner of Cleveland Street and Waterloo Road in Burslem.

The site is currently vacant but is occasionally used as a car park.

A decision is expected regarding these plans in the coming months (Google).

A site plan reveals that there would be seven spaces at the front of the site for cars for sale, space for three cars in a valeting area and space for two cars in the main car wash area.

The facility would operate between the hours of 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.

The full planning application can be viewed here.
