A brand-new café and bed and breakfast facility could open on a busy road in Stoke-on-Trent, if plans are approved by the city council.

Ms Harki has submitted a planning application for the "change of use to a café and bed and breakfast featuring seven rooms" at 86 Waterloo Road, Stoke-on-Trent.

86 Waterloo Road was formerly a tailor shop and the applicant says work started on the new development back in April but has not yet been completed.

The new business would employ three members of staff and operate seven days a week (Nub News).

The ground floor of the building would become a café and the first and second floors would form a B&B with seven rooms.

The new business would employ three members of staff (two full-time and one part-time) and operate between 7am and 9pm everyday.

The full planing application can be viewed here.
