Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died following a non-stop collision on the A500 on 4 October.

Police were called shortly before 10pm on Friday to the A500 at Audley towards junction 16 of the M6 following reports of a collision.

Officers attended and found a motorbike in collision with a central reservation.

Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

His next of kin has been informed.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "A dark-coloured vehicle was reported as involved in the collision and left the scene prior to our arrival.

"We are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch.

"Anyone with information should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 761 of 4 October."
