Mark Deaville, Staffordshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Strategic Highways said: "I know only too well how important these repairs are to the people of Cheadle and the surrounding area.

"I have received numerous comments about the road surface at these roundabouts and I'm really pleased to see the repairs. Crews were able to get in and out in three days, carrying out most of the work overnight to help reduce any disruption.

"I am very grateful for people's co-operation during the works and pass on my thanks to road users, pedestrians and local residents."
