Mobile foodbank coming to bet365 Stadium for upcoming Stoke City home fixtures

A temporary collection point for Stoke-on-Trent's foodbank is being set up at the bet365 Stadium ahead of Stoke City's upcoming home fixtures. 

The mobile foodbank will be parked adjacent to the Club Store and main entrance on match days, giving supporters the chance to drop off donations.

The foodbank will be on site between 12pm and 3pm on Saturday, December 9 and from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday, December 12.

Donations can also be made via the Club's main reception and the community offices on Monday, December 11 and Wednesday, December 13 between 9am and 5.30pm.

The mobile foodbank will be parked by the Club Store on upcoming match days (Nub News).

The foodbank will accept any donation but are specifically requesting UHT milk, pasta sauces, tinned tuna, biscuits, mash, tinned tomatoes, fruit juice (fresh and UHT), chocolate, soup, teabags, coffee, cereal, tinned soup, tinned vegetables, tinned meat, tinned fish, rice pudding, tinned fruit, tinned sponge pudding, dried pasta/rice, savoury and sweet treats.

Adrian Hurst, Head of the Club's Community Trust, said: "We have recently seen a call for action from the Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank stating that stocks are low heading into Christmas. We appreciate that we are in a cost of living crisis but for those supporters who are able and wish to support this campaign I can assure you that every donation will make a difference."
