Trentham Estate has announced its full programme of entertainment and activities for the brand-new Christmas event.

Visitors to the historic gardens in Staffordshire can look forward to a magical winter experience that includes Christmas markets, festive music and an evening ice sculpture trail.

Trentham Christmas Festival takes place in the Italian Gardens on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 December.

The festival features a stunning ice sculpture trail crafted by Liverpool's Glacial Art Ice Sculptures who will be shaping traditional Christmas figures.

The exciting festive event takes place in the Italian Gardens on 16 and 17 December (Trentham).

Kerrie Pope, Head of Events, said: "I can't think of a better venue to show off the talents and skills of our ice sculptures than our stunning Italian Gardens.

"Creative skills will be in abundance during our festival weekend, from the talents of the artisan crafts and food stalls in the Christmas Makers Markets to the musicians and performers, we think we've got the wow factor!"

From 10am until 4pm, visitors can enjoy Trentham's Christmas Festival daytime offer, artisan Makers Markets, fairground rides, live music and festive food and drink.

From 5pm until 9pm, visitors can experience some special night time treats including a fabulous Ice Sculpture Trail and live festive music from a local musician.

Evening Festival guests can be in with a chance of winning a Family Membership to Trentham as they explore the magical Ice Sculpture trail - to take part, visitors need to guess how many baubles are frozen within the ice and submit their answers via a QR code.

Tickets for the day and evening must be purchased separately - Adults cost £13, £7 for children and £30 for a family.
